Rain, Rain... Go Away...

 Good morning!

Doesn't Jax look so comfortable?  Isn't that just the best way to spend a rainy day?  It is raining again - and coming down like crazy.  I really hope the veggies survive all this rain.  Thank goodness we got happy bright glorious wonderful sunshine yesterday...

I think I'll be needing some more of those pumpkin chocolate chip muffins!

Now I actually really like rainy days, but having two dogs with muddy paws every time they come in the house (while very cute) can be quite messy.  My husband and I trade on and off who's on towel duty to clean the pups up.  Good thing they are so cute!

Things are quiet here today.  I got in a nice 4 mile run yesterday and hoping for 5-6 tomorrow and the same over the weekend.  Time for a strong cup of coffee!

Lastly, I was thinking I need some good books to read this summer.  Any suggestions?  Let me know!

Hope you have a wonderful Thursday =)

  3. I don't think it should be allowed to rain during the day during the Summertime ;). It ruins the potential for some many great outdoor activities!

  4. This rain needs to stop! An occasional day of rain and thunderstorms? Sure. I'll hibernate inside, bake cookies, nap, etc. But an ENTIRE MONTH of it? No. Not cool! Fingers crossed for your veggies! And yes, I agree about the dog paws. Thursdays are my days to mop the floors and I took one look outside and decided it was fruitless. Like I said, this rain needs to stop, haha.

  5. Anything by Sarah Jio! They are such easy reads and super engaging. I especially love The Bungalow.

The sun came out today! Hopefully it stays out all weekend. Happy friday :)
