Herbal Coffee Love

The weeks just fly by...it's crazy to me that it's almost May.  I guess that means the flowers must be blooming soon!  I would love to see bright green leaves on the trees and start planting some flowers in our yard.  Based on the forecast, this weekend is bring weather in the 70's - YESSSS!!!  That is pure happiness right there.

Jax and I got in a two mile run this morning.  I was planning on going solo, but as I was putting on my sneakers he found me and was willing me to say the magic words "let's go!"  I'm so happy to be feeling better today.  My throat was hurting pretty bad at the beginning of the week, but it now seems to have gotten its act together.  I'm hoping the 12 cups of tea I've been drinking each day did the trick.  I'm still feeling tired, but the sore throat is hopefully on it's way out!

Have you ever had herbal coffee before?

I mean it when I say this is a coffee and tea lover's dream.  Check out the ingredients! And the website!  Absolutely fantastic.  It came in my Vegan Cuts Snack Box so I only had one bag (and now I'll be thinking about it for weeks...)  I think I'm going to have to try and get a full box, even if from online.  I'm a true coffee lover and I could totally see drinking this daily.  It's caffeine free and if I had added some almond milk, it definitely would have been latte like!

I've had lentil stew (not that you can tell it's stew from that picture with all the kale I plopped on top) for dinner the last few nights.  The broth is soothing on my throat and I figured the more vegetables, grains, and lentils, the better!  I guess it's kind of been a lentil stew binge sorta week.  I drizzle flax oil on the kale right before eating to get my Omega 3s!

Here's another fun food item from my Vegan Cuts Snack Box.  I had never had this kind of bar before, but I can happily say it paired wonderfully with an apple and that herbal coffee above.  It's an organic protein bar!  I also enjoyed reading the Company's Manifesto!  Again, ingredients with integrity which always makes me smile.

And lastly, Jax has been enjoying the sun...  Which I hope to do this weekend!

Have you ever had herbal coffee?  What are your thoughts?
