Vegan Incredible Pizza

Hello, new week.

How was your weekend?

Sunday was an eventful day and I can proudly saw lots and lots (and then some more) got done at our house.  Curtains were hung as well as pictures, I vacuumed for the first time (that definitely makes it home), my husband put up the final door downstairs among numerous other things, we shopped, Jax relaxed all afternoon...  Things are in their place!

And then there was pizza!  I like making fun foods on the weekend and we hadn't made a homemade pizza in a really long time.  Being vegan, I rarely ever get pizza out at a restaurant so it was really fun to make one at home.

Ingredients:  Whole wheat pizza crust (cheated a little), pizza sauce, chopped garlic, basil leaves, sliced tomato, daiya, tofurky Italian sausages, and vegan parmesan for sprinkling. 14 minutes later, dinner was served.

It was relaxing adding the toppings while listening to Pandora.  Doesn't the pizza just look appetizing?  Best part, there are leftovers for lunch at work the next two days.

That's me ecstatic for pizza, but tired after a jam-packed-awesome weekend.

Hope you had a nice weekend!

Did you make anything fun?  What's one thing you did?

  1. Your house looks so cute! And your coffee maker is adorable! cough cough...my boyfriend got me a coffee maker so I'm not sure how soon I'll be able to get a latte maker without making him sad. If you read my blog today you can hear about my weekend...it was awesome (too much for a comment!)!!! :)

  2. That pizza looks pretty tasty! Oddly enough, pizza is one of the things I think it's easy to order vegan (and though I'm not vegan, I LOVE doing it). Crusts are usually vegan if you ask them not to brush any butter on. Get it without cheese and you're good to go. In my experience, places really load up on the veggies if you ask for no cheese and everyone else is always jealous of my "weirdo" pizza :)

  6. That pizza looks great! I love making home made pizza! I actually, for the first time, bought the Daiya brand "cheese". I haven't tried it yet, but I'm using it tonight. I can't wait to taste it! Mine's the jack flavor.
